A bit more about me

What makes me the right person to work with on your brand copy? I’m glad you asked:

  • I’ve been working for people just like you for over a decade now. And yes, that does make me feel old.
  • My PR and journalism degrees mean I ask the right questions to pull out the parts of your offering even you might not realise are selling points
  • I use humour to put people (and myself) at ease. Once I’ve made you laugh, I’ll know we’re on the right track.
  • I’ve worked with some big names (who I can’t talk about, but you will have heard of) and some tiny start ups, and I love it all. It’s not about the size of the brand, it’s how rewarding the work is.
  • Everything I write is for humans, by a human. It can be SEO-optimised, but it is intended to be read, to sink in, and to leave an impression. There’s no AI either, just what comes out of my brain. 
  • My rescue dog, Winnie, needs to be kept in the life to which she is accustomed
